Тръмп и Иран: Цена?
The United States President Trump announced a potential peace agreement with Iran, including the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. However, the market remains skeptical due to previous false promises and is awaiting tangible evidence of an actual agreement. Reopening the strait will be a complex and lengthy process, taking up to three months to clear existing tankers carrying 170 million barrels of oil, followed by the loading of empty tankers. Restarting oil production in the Middle East, significantly disrupted by the war, will also take weeks due to engineering challenges and coordination across companies and countries. High insurance costs and uncertainty surrounding the situation are preventing traders from establishing a stable price floor, with Brent crude futures remaining above $100 a barrel. Iran remains cautious, stating the reopening doesn’t equate to “free passage,” casting doubt on the prospects of a swift return to pre-war oil prices.
